Lessons Learned

The organization of the file needed improvement — a better system could help to streamline the update process after the app' initial launch
I would make more time to account for user validation and interviews — a large amount of the app was based off of older user input but during the process there was no immediate data to refer to
User test the hubs option — this is a new feature I haven't seen in other similar apps, so I would've loved to try different iterations on a group of users

What is Tuktuk?

Tuktuk is a student-led ride share startup based out of Austin, Texas.
‍
Carpools operate using the hub-to-hub model, each hub being a popular hotspot within the city. Tuktuk's services cover Austin's most popular student travel routes for those at the University of Texas at Austin.

The Problem

Students at UT always need a ride– so Tuktuk required an intuitive and well-designed way to help guide all their future users through the ride booking process.

Our Solution

An official app with improved features that help simplify the way rides are booked

Looking back

Though this project came with a shortened timeline due to it's submission into an accelerator program, the team was still able to complete a large amount of work with potential for large impact.
